DESCRIPTION:PHOTO: Steve Platt\, WHS Lifetime member and member of the KC Native Sons & Daughters (NSD) cooking brats  on the HKH grounds for the NSD Special Event recently. \nWestport Historical Society members are cordially invited to join us for our Quarterly Meeting and Dinner\, DATE TBD \, 2025 at 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.\, on the lawn and veranda of the 1855 Harris-Kearney Historical House Museum. The setting will be a casual summer picnic with brats\, burgers\, beer\, iced tea and water\, potato salad\, beans\, brownies and more\, along with a self-guided tour of the museum house and the member’s reception to see the new exhibit in the upper gallery of the museum house: \nDOCUMENTING HISTORY: BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE HARRIS-KEARNEY HOUSE MUSEUM \n~ Exhibit opens to the Public Sunday\, June 29th\, at 1:00 p.m. ~    \nThe $25 Ticket helps us off-set the cost of the meal. If you are not a member yet and would like to come\, please support us by becoming a new member now\, on-line HERE \nIf you would like to help with this event\, we need volunteers to help to set everything up.
