The Spring 2025 Annual Membership Meeting and Dinner agenda will include:
- 6:00 p.m. A Meet and Greet Reception at the 1855 Harris-Kearney Historical House Museum (Time TBA)
- The Opening of our 2025 Featured Exhibit entitled, The Works of Arthur Kraft.
- Remember Mr. Kraft? He lived in the Valentine area near Westport and was commissioned in the 60s to paint a 24- foot-wide mural of pioneer life. The mural remained on display above the teller section of the Westport Bank at 331 Westport Rd. until it was removed before the bank was razed for redevelopment in 2017. The Westport Historical Society, under the leadership of past president Alana Smith, rescued the mural from the bank before it was scheduled for demolition in 2017. - 6:45 p.m. Dinner with a guest speaker (TBA) about Arthur Kraft.
- 7:30 p.m. Election of Board of Directors
